Neighbour notification 24.04.2025
We are pleased to inform you that we completed the piling work well before Easter. This means that the noisiest phase of the construction project is now behind us. There will still be noisy work, but it will be less intensive and carried out over shorter periods.
These days, we will start applying waterproofing to the basement. This process smells of oil/asphalt and can be unpleasant, but it will only be carried out for a limited time and is not dangerous.
In the period leading up to summer, the main structures will rise. The buildings’ shape will become visible, and they will take up more space in the landscape. To achieve this, there will be many deliveries to the construction site by large trucks.
Although our focus is to ensure that these trucks enter and exit the city centre in a safe and responsible manner, it is particularly important to be cautious when near them. Their blind spots are large, and their stopping distances are long. Please take extra care if you cycle or drive past a truck, especially if you are unsure whether the driver can see you.

We would like to inform you that next week (Week 4) we will begin the assembly of the tower crane. This work will take place inside our construction site, but there may be brief traffic stops during the lifting of the jib. The work will be carried out by UCO E.D Knudsen, who has extensive experience with such work and follows strict safety procedures.
At the same time, we will continue the piling works. This can be noisy at times when the piles hit bedrock. We will continue to carry out continuous noise measurements to ensure that we stay within the noise limits set by Ås Municipality. This work will continue until Easter, but we will do our best to complete it sooner.
We apologise for the continued inconvenience caused by the drilling, but once it is completed, the noisiest phase of the work will also be over.
Neighbour notification 10.11.2024
We would like to inform you that next week we will begin sheet piling works.
This may be perceived as very noisy work, but it will only take place Monday–Friday over a period of 3–4 weeks.
Experience shows that sheet piling is among the noisiest activities in a construction project. We will therefore conduct continuous noise measurements to ensure that the work remains within the noise limits set by Ås Municipality.
We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.

Demolition work will begin on 9 September 2024 and will last for approximately 3 weeks. Waste will be transported via Moerveien and out to Brekkeveien before leaving the Ås town centre. Groundworks will begin once the demolition is complete. We will ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with applicable rules and regulations to minimise disturbances and inconveniences as much as possible.
